Wheeeee

Sat Aug 18, 2007, 8:53 AM
Hello darlings,

Look! Update! In less than a month!

o.O!!!

I know. I can tell that you're as shocked as I am.

Anyway, not too much to say. I've been playing with style some (even though my two updates are so ridiculously cliche-ly anime-like) because I'm frustrated with my inability to expand past my painfully obvious anime-roots. Sometimes I wish I hadn't spent so many years drawing the stuff, since I seem unable to do anything else.

But I'm trying!

Hopefully more soon.

I LIVE?!?!?!?!

Hi everyone.

I decided to finally get off my lazy butt and update my DA. I realize its been a million years since I said I would... but, you know, I'm cool like that.

I've actually been drawing some, trying to get better. I think I almost wanted to quit forever five times this year, which is a new record, but I'm trying to be less angsty. I'm also trying to get better at finishing pictures.

I realize, after updating, that I really need to start making backgrounds.

Anyway, <3 to everyone. I hope I have more updates soon.

Blank Page

Sat Dec 9, 2006, 2:01 PM
I am much too much a fan of fresh starts, I fear. But, in this case, I think that it may be a good thing. Sometimes the only way for me to get better is to make a clean break with who I used to be, which is what this year has been about in a lot of ways.

therainbowsock represented a point in my life that I'm very gratefully past. She was not the same person as me, in fact, in some ways we are completely unrecognizable from eachother. Not in all ways, of course. However, she also had a lot of baggage, particularly in relation to art.

pompeius, on the the other hand, represents a blank page and a new try. Not only that, but Pompey is my new favoritest historical figure (yes, I'm a loser) and, well, I can't go wrong with Mr. Pompeius Magnus himself.

Anyway, I have a frick-ton of stuff to get up, but I need to get past this semester first. So, expect a big update sometime after I go home in few days. Hopefully, the quality of the pieces that meander onto this little account will also be a significant change from previous ones.

I don't make any promises though.
